Hey there! Beekeeping Made Simple was founded by me, Laryssa Kwoczak, to make beekeeping an enjoyable hobby once more.
There is nothing like opening a live hive. It is a glimpse into a magical world. This course is for people who truly love bees and want to have a positive impact on the bee population.
I have been a beekeeper for over 12 years. After losing hive after hive my first two years keeping bees in PA, I moved to Hawaii for a beekeeping internship. I stayed in Hawaii for 11 years, working for a commercial apiary with thousands of hives and later starting my own apiary. A few years ago, I moved back to my hometown state of Pennsylvania, where I have a backyard apiary with the primary focus of teaching people like you how to become a backyard beekeeper.
Since 2017, I have taught thousands of people about bees through in-person apiary tours, my online and in-person beekeeping class, and my YouTube channel.
